BTech Admission 2024
Registration started for the admissions to the  Management, NRI & Lateral Entry Seats.

Out of the total number of seats sanctioned, 50% seats will be filled by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations and the remaining 50% including NRI seats will be filled by the Management.
 
1. GOVT Quota
50% seats of the sanctioned intake of students in B Tech courses are set apart for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Eligibility for Admission in Govt. Quota
1a. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), put together are eligible for Govt quota admission.
Note:-
(i) In two year Kerala Higher Secondary courses or examinations recognized equivalent thereto with two year course where the Board Examinations are conducted in both years, the total marks of two years in the respective subjects as shown in the mark lists of the respective Higher Secondary Boards will be considered for academic eligibility.
(ii) In Higher Secondary courses or examinations recognised equivalent thereto where Board
Examinations are conducted only at the end of 12th class (final year), the marks in the respective subjects as shown in the mark lists of the respective Higher Secondary Boards will be considered for academic eligibility.
(iii) For all other type of Higher Secondary courses or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, the marks of the respective subjects as shown in the mark list of the respective Board of Examinations will be considered for academic eligibility.*

1b.He/ she shall be qualified in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2018.
 
2. Management Quota
(i) Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination,Kerala, or Examinations marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. However candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equialent there to, with 45% marks in mathematics, Physics,  and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges.
In case the candidates has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered.
In case ,the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered.
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry,Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.
The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.
 
3. NRI Quota
15% seats of the sanctioned intake are provided for NRI category and allotted to children and dependants of NRIs on the basis of marks obtained for PCM in qualifying examination. These students are admitted by the Management based on their academic eligibility as per University norms and exempted from qualifying in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2018.

4. Lateral Entry
  • 3 year diploma holders in Engineering having 50% marks in the final diploma examination are also eligible for admission to second year BTech.
  • Candidate should qualify LET Exam.
